Get to Know Dr. Leaha Nels

Dr. Leaha Nels grew up in the nearby town of Newalla, Oklahoma, and was homeschooled from first to twelfth grade. After high school, she explored her skills and love of science in a dental lab program at a local vocational school where she fell in love with the meticulous work but was still yearning for interaction with people. Dr. Nels received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Oklahoma and practiced as a hygienist for five years before receiving her DDS from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.

Dr. Nels is a member of several professional organizations including the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Oklahoma Association for Women Dentists, Spear Study Club, and the American Dental Association.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Nels enjoys baking everything from cakes and cookies to fresh bread. She also stays active by hiking and working out, and enjoys traveling with her husband and friends.

Your First Visit

 As you walk into our office, you’ll be greeted by the smiling faces of our friendly team and the modern amenities of our relaxing office. We’ll answer any insurance-related questions you may have to make your appointment as seamless as possible.

You’ll then meet with Dr. Nels and receive a comprehensive oral exam, complete with any necessary x-rays. We spend the extra time to address your concerns and discuss the state of your dental health with you before outlining a unique treatment plan tailored to your needs. Before leaving, we can also schedule any future visits and sign you up for our in-house membership plan.

Jaden Magott

Dental Hygienist

Jaden is a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist with expertise in oral health care. With two health science degrees, Jaden started as a certified dental assistant and progressed to her current role. Jaden has received recognition for her outstanding work, being awarded as an exceptional dental assistant and earning the title of "Ideal Dental Hygienist" from her peers.

As a dental hygienist, Jaden creates a trusted and comfortable environment for her patients. She focuses on educating patients about the oral/systemic link, promoting health and prevention, and building personal connections. She believes in customizing care for each individual's unique oral health needs.She is continuously learning and staying updated on the latest research and technology, Jaden goes beyond the ordinary to make a difference in her patients' lives.

Outside of work, Jaden enjoys attending concerts, going on road trips, and engaging in outdoor activities like camping, kayaking, and hiking. She also has a passion for thrifting, tending to house plants, and supporting rescue and shelter animals.With expertise, genuine compassion, and a commitment to empowering patients, Jaden delivers exceptional dental care for optimal oral health and overall wellness.

Jackie Jones

Dental Assistant

Jackie is a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant with over 12 years of experience. She completed the Dental Assistant program at Kiamichi Technology Center in McAlester, Oklahoma. As a Dental Assistant, Jackie's primary focus is being a patient advocate, creating a safe and comfortable environment for individuals seeking dental treatment. She prioritizes building positive relationships with her patients, listening to their concerns, and providing support. Jackie also plays a crucial role in helping patients understand the treatments discussed by the dentist or hygienists. She understands the importance of addressing her patients' unique needs with kindness and compassion throughout their dental journey.

What sets Jackie apart in her field is her commitment to total body care. She believes that oral health is closely connected to overall well-being and strives to provide comprehensive care to her patients. Jackie finds joy in working with pediatric patients, being part of their first dental experiences, and creating a fun and educational environment during appointments. Beyond the office, Jackie stays active by participating in CrossFit workouts and 5K runs. She explores her creative side through beading earrings and is currently learning how to sew. Most importantly, she cherishes spending quality time with her children, supporting them in their sporting events, and creating family memories.

She actively participates in dental assistant associations, contributes to her church community through hospitality duties at Life Church, and volunteers at a local homeless shelter. She continually seeks new opportunities to make a positive impact in her community.With her extensive experience, genuine care for patients Jackie is a skilled Dental Assistant who strives to create a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
